(Furqan) 25 : 40
Surely they have passed through the city which had been showered with a dreadful rain of stones; have they not seen its ruins? But they don’t expect to be resurrected.
The dreadful rain of stones showering the city denotes the Sodom where the people of Looth existed. When they were indulged in antinatural activity sodomy by rejecting Adhikr and Prophet Looth, they were destroyed. Today such heinous and shameful activities are commonly seen among the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar than any other people. These worst creatures who reject Adhikr are serving Satan and are following his footsteps as explained in verses 2: 168-169. See explanation 11: 78; 15: 74-75 and 22: 45-46.
